1994年~1995年にロンドンのMountview Theatre School(現 Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts) の演技基礎科夜間コース、 Desmond Jones School of Mime and Physical Theatre の基礎コースにて学ぶ。両校 卒業までに、演技の他声楽・ダンス・マイムを学ぶ。
帰国後、東京都内にて芝居、演奏、肉体パフォーマンス等の表現活動を積極的に行う。 2001年にはルーテル市ヶ谷センターに於いてクラシックギターのリサイタルデビューを 飾る。翌2002年にもソロリサイタルを行い、2回のリサイタルを通し古典のフェルナン ド・ソル、バロック期のヘンリー・パーセルやドメニコ・スカルラッティ、近代ではスペ インのイサーク・アルベニス、ブラジルのエイトル・ヴィラ=ロボス の曲を演奏した。
その後、俳優活動に集中する。「それでもボクはやってない」(2007)周防正行監督、 「ドッペルゲンガー」(2003)黒沢清監督への出演を経て、2007年よりファザーズコーポ レーションに所属。現在までに映画・ドラマ・舞台と積極的に活動している。2022年に は自身で企画・制作・出演した1人芝居「2代目 藪原検校 ~講談 藪原検校 秦々斎桃葉編 より」の映画版が海外の映画祭で注目され、Polish International Film Festivalにて最優秀長編映画作品賞を受賞、日本ーセルビア映画祭では正式上映作品に選出された。

Studied at Mountview Theatre School (now Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts) in London from 1994 to 1995 on the Part-Time Foundation Course, and the Foundation Course at Desmond Jones School of Mime and Physical Theatre. By the time he graduated from both schools, he had studied voice, dance and mime as well as acting.
After returning to Japan, he actively engaged in expressive activities such as theatre, playing music and physical performance in Tokyo area.
In 2001, he made his classical guitar recital debut at the Lutheran Ichigaya Centre. The following year, in 2002, he gave another solo recital, and over the course of two recitals performed music by Fernando Sor in the classical period, Henry Purcell and Domenico Scarlatti in the Baroque period, and Isaac Albéniz, Aitor Villa-Lobosin the modern period.
He then concentrated on acting. After appearing in Still I’m Not Doing It (2007) directed by Masayuki Suo and Doppelganger (2003) directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa, he joined Fathers’ Corporation in 2007. In 2022, the film version of his one-man show “Yabuhara Kengyo (2nd Yabuhara Kengyo): Kodan Yabuhara Kengyo Shinshinsai Toyo Hen”, which he planned, produced and performed in, attracted attention at film festivals overseas. The film won the Best Feature Film Award at the Polish International Film Festival and was selected for official screening at the Japan-Serbia Film Festival.
